Filipino’s
love for Japanese food is no secret; thus, restaurants that offer Japanese
cuisine just kept on popping up to cater to that need. Summer may be hot here in
the Philippines but it will never be an excuse to have a hot bowl of your
favorite ramen to soothe your soul. One of the newest places to satisfy your
craving for ramen or any Japanese cuisine you fancy is Sakuramen.
Located along Zabarte Road in Caloocan City, Sakuramen is also one of the businesses that were bravely put up by its owners in the middle of the pandemic. When asked why they decided to open a Japanese restaurant specifically, turned out that their mother used to work in Japan for a few years. This solidified the idea of putting up a family business related to that, thus, Sakuramen is born.
Their location is easy to find as they are just along the road, and the sign can easily be seen as well. The place is well lit because of the glass door and glass walls giving natural light inside. Their place isn’t heavily decorated with Japanese design but the wall art gave the space an edge.

When it comes to their food selection, their menu is very straightforward. You may ask them for their best sellers if you can’t make up your mind. They have 6 varieties of ramens you can choose from, and their best-sellers are Tonkotsu, Spicy Katsu, and Spicy Seafood to give you an idea. They also have set meals and sushi platters. They also cater! You can message them for requests.
If you happen to come by, you might see their resident dog, Yara, roaming around being playful. Yes, they are a pet-friendly place! But if you want to try their specialties but are still afraid to go out, or you have too much to do, they are also available via Grab for your convenience.
They are
open from 12NN until 10:00PM.

ReplyDeleteI loooove Japanese food and I always admire Filipino entrepreneurs who venture in this kind of food business. It's a tough competition out there sa sobrang dami na ng Jap restos. But it all boils down sa quality and taste. Affordable din ba yung prices? Ganda ng photos, nakakatakam!
