These coffee shops are serving not just coffee but also aesthetic minimalist vibe!

They say that coffee is always a good idea and ideas can be born out of drinking good coffee. Many people treat coffee as their fuel in their everyday adventures in life and for some, having coffee while admiring a good view and environment is something priceless. These coffee shops may be small but the experience they can give may also be a memorable one, especially if you appreciate minimalism.


F.T. San Luis Avenue, Bay, Laguna

"A place for freshly brewed coffee, tea, homemade cakes, and Ice cream."

If you can see the Baybayin letters above the name of this cafe, it's because the owner finds learning Baybayin beautiful, as well as embracing it. Meanwhile, the concept of the store is inspired by the local coffee shops that the owner saw while traveling abroad. The concept went well with each other and people from different places are ow visiting Barrio Cafe.

As much as it's not easy to open a business while a pandemic is going on, they were able to open a few months after the lockdown was implemented. They are offering not just coffee but also milk teas and some snacks you can munch on.

"Muni Coffee is a minimalist hole-in-the-wall coffee shop where you can grab your crafted coffee. It aims to satisfy your daily caffeine fix alone and with your friends & family."

This coffee shop is actually one of the first few cafes with this concept that got known on Facebook. Aside from the minimalist concept that made them viral, they are also using used milk cartons. They advocate sustainability which people loved.

Muni Coffee is a Japanese-inspired minimalist cafe and they just started their operations last December 2020. They are open from Tuesday to Sunday every 7:30 am and closes at 9:00 pm. They are closed every Monday.



66-72 Saudi Arabia St, Better Living Subd., Paranaque City

From a fruit and vegetable store turned into a coffee shop and bakery, Fresh Finds Manila is a fusion of two "pandemic baby" businesses namely PRESKO COFFEE and YENDA BAKERY. After some drastic change when this year came, they decided to just stick to PRESKO COFFEE and put their fresh produce products on their online platform.

This place is a two-seater cafe that is serving iced and hot coffee. Non-coffee beverages are also available. They have bottled drinks readily available if you just want to come and go.

Block 1 Lot 9 Tulip Street, West Fairview, Quezon city

"All beverages are below ₱100, our coffee was made from locally sourced beans and meticulously brewed to perfection just for you!"

Newly opened Kopi Creations is now making waves as people started to recognize and love their aesthetic minimalist concept. Before opening a physical store, they are already selling bottled coffees, drip coffees as well as gift bundles like mugs set and tote gift set.

They are serving hot and cold coffee beverages all below 100 pesos each.



Somerset Olympia Makati Avenue (Across of Ayala Triangle)

"Chiang mai inspired cafe in the heart of Makati CBD"

Street is an outdoor cafe with a few tables and chairs to accommodate its customers. Amid being a Chiang Mai-inspired coffee shop, they are also offering other types of drinks like Seoul, a strawberry espresso with full cream which is a Korean-inspired drink.

They also serve pastries and desserts. They are open from 9:00 am to 4:00 or 5:00 pm.

Zamora Street, Rizal St, Silay City Heritage Zone, Silay City, 6116 Negros Occidental

"We are a micro-roaster that runs a small stand where we serve Hand Drip Coffee and Espresso-based drinks. You can also purchase Roasted coffee and drip bags from us. We do roast-to-order to ensure freshness and great quality."

Started as an indoor cafe in December 2016, they decided to put up the stand last October 2020 because of the pandemic. The stand is movable and is made of a puzzled wood structure. They offer plant-based food and coffee menu for their customers.

They support local and international farmers via doing direct trade as well as conducting farmer workshops in partnership with their LGU (pro-bono). They do small-batch roasting and they guaranteed that all the beans are fresh.

Andrew Street, Multination Village, Paranaque City

"We provide high-quality local coffee: hand-crafted, beans to cup."

Andrew Park Coffee started in 2018. They believe that a good cup of coffee brings awesomeness to one's life; day & night. Their owner's love for coffee and his roots gave him the drive to support and showcase the local coffee industry. The idea took shape on his vacation in Seoul, Bangkok & Taipei. Inspired by the local coffee scene, he wanted to bring that vibe in the metro; the APC way.

They also sell bottled goodness; coffee cocktails and they put out promos every now and then so make sure to check them out.


Metropolis Ave. Binangonan, Rizal

It was named MītoMīkafe or Meet Me Café because they aim their small space to be "Where Coffee MEETS People. They just opened this March 2021 and the owner was inspired in putting up this business because of watching last year the Korean drama 'Itaewon Class' during the pandemic. While the minimalist aesthetic of the place is Japanese-inspired. Her goal to pursue her love and passion for handcrafted coffee is born.

They sell handcrafted beverages and pastries to partner the drinks with. They use local produce coffee beans to help local farmers, too. Their store hours os from 3pm to 9pm daily.

  1. This is nice, though none are within our area. The closest would be Street in Somerset Olympiad. I'm pretty sure we'll pass by the area soon, perhaps I can try their pastries when we do.
