Troopers is a food-place humbly located at the heart of Cubao in Quezon City. Before you can come inside their small but nicely decorated place, you'll see a huge sign where their menu is listed. You'll probably be surprised to see some dish you'll only see in some fancy restaurants around and be more surprised to see their price.
And yes, their concept screams of Army. You'll get the idea as well on their menu since most of the food they serve is named via ranks in the military. This may not be a new concept, but it's still something worth taking an interest.
We went to Troopers on a hot afternoon. The person who served us said that people would usually come for dinner and the place would be jampacked, forcing some customers to just order take-out since all of the tables will be full. I wasn't surprised at the idea, but when we saw and tasted the food, I knew instantly why people would fall in line at all.
This nachos with generous toppings is only priced at 100.00! The toppings compliments the crunchy nachos. Isn't salty at all, but you'll appreciate the taste.
Chicken Teriyaki for 149.00 only. You can devour it all or share it with a friend! I am really not into spicy food but the level of spice in this one is something I can take.
And of course, they have pasta! Colonel as listed at their menu, this Carbonara is priced at 129.00!
Ah, burgers! They have varieties of burgers, too! Named as General of the Airforce, this is priced at 149.00! Look at that cheese sauce, though!
A steak. Would you believe this? This is called General of the Army and is only 169.00!
Last but not the least of the food we were able to taste, this mouth-watering rib is the most recommended dish from the Pinoy Vibe team. It doesn't just look good, but it tastes good as well. All of the food we had tastes good anyway, but you can get this ribs called Commander in their menu for only 169.00 only.
This particular branch of Troopers that we went to is located at 26B 15th Avenue, Murphy, Cubao. It's just along the street of Camp Aguinaldo in Cubao. They have other branches at Kamuning, Quezon City, Malanday, Marikina and at Parang, Marikina.
